We’re inviting you to experience God in a deep and profound way through our Transformations DTS! The Discipleship Training School begins with a 3 month Campus Phase, where students come with a heart asking God to shape and mold them into purposes for our lives. Its a powerful time of learning, each week of the course has a unique topic and focus element to help facilitate growth in our relationship with God. Students also will have daily devotionals, prayer & worship times, and we will also be able to engage our some of our weekly ministries here in Mexico! Students will also be placed into small groups and have a dedicated weekly mentor that will be walking with you and encouraging your in your walk with Christ. Our campuses are located in the beautiful Baja region of Mexico, just south of San Diego and the U.S. border. After the 3-month Campus Phase, you are sent out on a 2-month international outreach where we have the opportunity to proclaim and share what God has done in our lives and inventing people to follow after Jesus. Campus Phase

Our DTS starts with a three-month Campus Phase where students discover more about God while surrounded by God's beauty in beautiful Baja California, Mexico, just south of San Diego.

The core of our DTS is our 6 elective offerings, which you can choose from for a unique opportunity to learn more about your specific passions through God.

When you choose the Transformation DTS, you are committing yourself to change. Changing your scenery, your mindset, and your future, to spread God’s story around the globe and lead a life of missions.

Never traveled before?

Want to answer God’s call, but afraid of change?

A YWAM Transform elective will help you win the battle against fear. You’ll gain confidence in yourself and learn to put your trust in God in order to move through every aspect of life exuding His love.

Students will live in a close-knit community with one another and encourage one another to grow in their walk with the Lord. There is also time to meet in small groups, and the opportunity to be personally mentored, encouraged, and discipled by our YWAM staff and guest speakers.

THE Outreach PHASE

Once the Campus Phase is complete, take what you learned in the Transformation DTS classroom into immediate real-world practice in the Outreach Phase.

During this 8-week mission trip, you’ll travel to an overseas destination to apply the concepts you learned during the Campus Phase and use your missions talents to communicate God’s love and serve communities untouched by his story.

Our outreach activities will include home building, feeding the houseless, ministering to orphans, and praying over red-light districts. As you dive deeper into a vibrant relationship with God, you’ll find that transformation takes place every day as you adapt to new surroundings to find and share God in every scenario you experience.

Possible outreach locations include Europe, Asia, & Latin America.

COST OF TRANSFORMATION DTS

The cost of YWAM San Diego/Baja’s Campus Phase is $3,495, which includes tuition, food, housing, and learning materials. We do offer partial scholarships for students from Latin America.

The cost of the Outreach Phase can vary depending on the destination and the airfare, but lodging, food, and transportation for the 2-month trip typically cost between $2,500 - $4,500.

What does it mean to experience transformation?

Romans 8:29 says “To be transformed into the same image is to be conformed to the resurrected and glorified Christ, to be made the same as He is.”

When we spend time with Jesus, we can’t help but be radically different from what we once were. Jesus bids us to come and die and to walk a narrow road of holiness and intimate fellowship with the Father. When we lay down our agenda and submit our will to the Lord, transformation is taking place!
