Summer Music Internship
The Summer Music Internship (SMI) is a 12-week program that aims to develop worship leaders and musicians through a hands-on learning experience. Taking place during one of our busiest seasons, SMI students will have multiple opportunities to lead worship for the youth of our Mission Adventures program, and for the staff and students of our beautiful Ensenada campus.
Students will spend 10 weeks learning about: biblical and historical worship, the character and role of a worship leader, spiritual disciplines, partnering with the Holy Spirit, and how to lead worship for a church community and in missions. There will be classes going over music theory and band dynamics, as well as optional instrumental lessons.
SMI wants to help students become more passionate about worship leading, and for students to be confident in using their musical gifts and talents in ministry.
